논문 초록 (Abstract)
The purpose of this study is to design the supply strategy of taxi in Yeongi-Kun. The flows of this study are as followings; First, the socio-economic and transportation environment of Yeongi-Kun was analysed and the situation of making use of taxi was surveyed in August, 1996. Second, the demand of taxi was estimated from the year of 1996 to the year of 2001. Third, on the basis of taxi estimates, the supply strategy of taxi in Yeongi-Kun was designed. Yeongi-Kun need to supply 7.7∼11 taxi per year for Yeongi-Kun people from the year of 1996 to the year of 2001. It is the short bean strategy that prevent illegal taxi from moving round the Yeongi-Kun. Without this prescription, there will be no factor of taxi increase. In the long term strategy, it is good plan to decrease the number of taxi instead of increasing public transportation for the inhabitant of Yeongi-Kun. This strategy must be planned on the basis of the comprehensive urban plan in Yeongi-Kun.
